方法如下:
"Here is a small tutorial on how to use let say a maxversion 0.9.3 extension on a PR1 build of firefox.

There are two ways to achieving this, the easiest is to change your app version.
- Type about:config in the addresbar
- Type app.extensions.version in the filterbar
- Rightclick the entry and choose modify
- Change 0.10 to 0.9

Now you can use all the old extensions

The second way is to edit the extension itself, known as repackaging/bumping.

- Open the extension (*.xpi) (you can use any archive program)
- Find the install.rdf file
- Open it with a normal text editor (no word/wordpad, just plain simple notepad)
- Find the line that says <maxversion>0.x</maxversion>
- Change the number to 0.10
- Save and update the archive

Now you got yourself a repacked/bumped extension that will install on a PR1 build
Last stepis to send the repack to sboulema@gmail.com, so others can use it"

居然現在才看到這文章...
我剛剛升級到1.0 PR後，才發現有些常用套件如同文堂不能使用在該版本因此就移除並用回0.9.3了...@@"


不過，像文章中這樣做會不會出現什麼兼容性問題？
還有不知同文堂什麼時候才會真正支援1.0 PR啊...

Actually both methods are not recommended because that some of the code changes might break the extension therefore causing it to not functioning; and installing such extensions might break your profile. I've tried like 10 of them and most of them worked, but still it's really like not safe to do, so if u wanna try it back your profile up first.

我就是用上面的方法二來修改同文堂2.0的,
首先是下載同文堂2.0的xpi檔,
再用winrar等壓縮軟件把xpi檔解壓縮,
找出install.rdf檔並以notepad等編輯軟件打開,
再找出<maxversion>0.x</maxversion>一句,
將0.x改為0.10 (例:0.9改為0.10),
儲存後把install.rdf檔放回xpi內,
以firefox開啟xpi檔即可安裝. 8)

真係work喎!!!正呀!!!收下喇, 測試ie view is pass!

改裝成功，這個方法不知道是否也能套用在其它舊Extension上??
待會扮個白老鼠自己測試一下

應該是沒太大問題的，我現在的Firefox，就用了不知道有沒有十幾個從Extensions Mirror下載來的repacked版本吧 8)
