PCMan, I apologize if my e-mail seemed cold to you. That was not my intent, my intent was to convince you to update the project because it was slowly dying because nobody could udate it. I think perhaps this was lost in translation. But I wish you would have simply contacted me or replied to even one of my emails to you and let me know your concerns or asked for the source code. We have sent the source code to many, many people. We didn't make it a priority to host it publicly, but we never held it back. I know you understand how people get busy, just as you were too busy for the past 3 years to update IE Tab. There were no bad intentions. I contacted both of you many times asking you to allow me to update the original listing with the new code. And neither of you replied. So we did the work that you were too busy to do, and helped 100s of thousands of users continue to be able to use IE Tab, I would think that we would deserve a Thank You, not all of this animosity and anger. In any case, I have now placed the IE Tab V2 source code on a Google repository: http://code.google.com/p/ietabv2/ |

Don't Lie anymore. The fact is, YOU NEVER OPEN THE SOURCE! You insult the word of opensource. You don't release src before! NO SRC LINK!!! Your source never appeared,and GIT repository has appears just one day(Suddenly appeared about 2012/01/01)!!! It's a huge FRAUD FRAUD! Don't you feel shameful? Second,you register a same name called "PCMAN",and say ietabv2 is the original on the addons page. You want to make v2 looks more official,but it is FRAUD! Sigh. He was left as the <em:creator> because he was the creator. Please remember that this is an open source upgrade of the original IE Tab project. PCMan was quite literally the creator, I don't know how we could be wrong about that. I suspect there would have been an uproar in this community if we HAD NOT listed him as the creator. In any case, I'll ask PCMan if he would like us to remove him from the <em:creator>, if so, then I of course have no problem with that and we will do it immediately. |

Hi, I browser your code and find nothing related to DEP(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Data_Execution_Prevention). Did you miss something with your code? I guess IE Tab V2 uses "Hook" to bypass ALT DEP problem. As "Hook" is widely used by viruses, Symantec/Norton anti-virus software reports your extension as virus mistakenly. Thanks for providing the source code. |
