As a joint effort with Ramona (SillyDog701 moderator), I created following test pages for testing multimedia plugins.

Test page 1 embedded QuickTime movie

The video used above is not new footage, but re-encoded to work in embedded HTML pages, and streaming as well.
You will need QuickTime 5 or later installed to test those plugins. Currently, QuickTime 7 is available for OS X 10.3.9 or later, and QuickTime 7 Public Preview is available for Windows 2000/XP users.

Still on 56k dial-up? Don't worry, you can still enjoy my Desktop in Action, part 5 without long downloads.

All you need to do is tell your QuickTime player your correct internet connection, and your QuickTime Player and SillyDog701 server will handle the rest.

In OS X, you can go to System Preference > QuickTime > Streaming and select the right speed.


In Windows, open QuickTime, Edit > Preferences > QuickTime Preferences > Connection Speed.
