唔知大家可不可以播放呢? 有咩方法可以播放wmv,wma呢? |

Firstly, please check that you have correct Windows Media Player installed. Please see viewtopic.php?t=9121 for testing your plugins. Then, we can blame Firefox, they decided to go for strict coding in order to play embedded objects. Therefore, some webmasters were not aware of Firefox's unfriendly requirement. |

為何這樣就說可將責任怪在 fx 上? 因為對使用者造成不便? 若是如此，gecko 對網路標準的堅持是不是該降級才對，因為網路上一大堆的網頁都是 ie only? |

They even dropped the popular [tt]<embed>[/tt] which was originated from Netscape. 因為是 ns 發明的，所以 gecko 不能刪? 這邏輯很奇怪耶。 They (Mozilla Foundation) is forcing web authors to re-code their webpages. unacceptable.那請問你提 <embed> 的用意是什麼? 更何況，fx 是接受 <embed> 的，fx 不接受的是 ie only 的 <bgsound>。 我想 fx 並沒有意思要強迫網頁設計師要重改他們的網頁，何況往符合標準的方向改，讓各平台各瀏覽器的使用者都看得到有什麼不對。很多 ie only 的東西 linux 上的軟體跑不起來，別說 linux 了，opera 也不支援 <bgsound>，照你的說法，opera 也在強迫人家改語法? fx 並不是完美的軟體，只是軟體良性 (我以為所謂良性，在瀏覽器上就是至少要合標準) 競爭，使用者各取所需，這樣就好了，沒必要用狹隘的角度去批評。 |

The "standard" method does now work on some older browsers. When the old method works, there's no need to fix it. And I can't state any negative comments about Firefox? 我想 embed 可以說是 old method 吧，程度太差不懂什麼是 not support directly，不過它在我的電腦上跑得好好的。我們可以討論 fx 到底對非標準的老東西該支援到什麼程度，就我所知這一點上 fx 並沒有太擾人的問題，重點出在是 ie only，ie only 的東西不見得都是 old method。我倒是很希望知道開板的大到底碰到哪些網頁的 wmv, wma 讀不出來，檢驗一下是因為 fx 不支援已流行的老語法，還是 ie only。 你當然可以批評，但應該用相同的標準。因為有使用者碰到無法讀出多媒體(原因可能是網頁寫得不好，也可能是該使用者不知道如何設定瀏覽器)，所以你就可以接著認為 fx coding 太嚴然後說 fx 該批評? 而不是另一方面也討論網頁的內容合不合時宜? |
