FAQ (not included in the help yet)
Q: In Opera/Mozilla/Firefox some special characters are not decoded correctly. Is this a bug?
A: No, that's not a bug and can happen under the following circumstances: if a Opera/Mozilla/Firefox bookmark file contains some Unicode characters which cannot be displayed with the installed codepage of your Windows (eg. japanese characters on an english Windows), then AM-DeadLink 2.05 or higher doesn't decode the bookmark names and use the encoded names as they are stored in the bookmark file. This will prevent buggy conversions of your bookmark file, but you can fully check and delete bookmarks and download FavIcons as well without any side effects. The only feature which is disabled in such a case is to edit bookmark names. If all characters in your bookmark file can be displayed with the installed codepage, then AM-DeadLink will decode the bookmark names correctly and you can edit them.
