We are considering becoming a mentor organization for Google's recently
announced Summer of Code program. Part of the process involves coming
up with a list of projects that students can work on.

Brian and I have come up with a short list of project ideas, but we
wanted to see if anyone else had other suggestions for things to add,
remove or edit.
