I'm very grateful for your help with zh-TW locale. Please inform me if you find any mistakes in zh-TW locale.

• I messed zh-TW locale in earlier versions (I can't remember since which version exactly, maybe 0820 or 0830... ) because I made some mistakes when using Mozlcdb. I re-imported en-US and zh-TW locale in 0903 version. But I were not aware of the GUID mistake, thank you for your correction.
• I will test zh-tw locale in fedora 7 or Ubuntu 7.04 soon.
• I notice that you marked some items as "useless?" in chrome registration area. In fact, I have quite limited knowledge about programming. I kept them just because I don't know if they are needed. That's also why I created useless tchineselocale.jar from frenchlocale.jar. I removed them from my 20070907 version and it seems no problem.
• I created kz-0710-zhTW.20070907.zip according to your install.rdf, defaults directory, and my chrome directory. I know you modified some items (autoMarginUnit/thinBorderUnit/mediumBorderUnit/thickBorderUnit) in EdCssProps.dtd and I've adopted these items in this version (20070907). I also made quite a few modifications for zh-TW translaion according to 三腳貓 Three-leg-cat's suggestions and my own opinions. This new version is available to download for testing in the first post of this thread.

要是只有我自己，絕對沒這個耐心去比對翻譯詞彙。

雖然有時候看到一些芝麻綠豆的建議，很想來個精神勝利法，叫巷子裡的狗去欺負後巷的野貓洩忿，不過耐著性子改著改著，好像也已經改了蠻多地方了。

I think you've just found a bug in the Linux version. I will check that.

Could you try the RPM package to test it in Fedora 7, please? http://downloads.sourceforge.net/kompoz ... 0-i386.rpm
The DEB package has been reported to work on Debian Etch and all Ubuntu versions since 6.06, but the RPM package has only been tested on Mandriva 2007 so far.

I still do not know if these items are needed or not, this is why I have put them under this «useless?» separator. This is just a reminder for myself.

I have only found the 20070908 version, which seems corrupted (I cannot open it neither with KompoZer nor with my file archiver). I will wait for your next release.

I made a mistake in EdCssProps.dtd in 20070907 version and corrected it in 20070908 version. It seems the uploaded kz-0710-zhTW.20070908.zip was corrupted. I've re-uploaded the new one. Please try again.

放上了去的 20070908 版本，有兩個鏈結，不過下面的那一個還沒有更新，而上面的－－是 20070908-114 版才是正確可用的版本。

然而，不幸發現選單上的所有項目後的「(X)...」全轉了「...(X)」的樣子，例如：「圖片(I)...」變成了「圖片...(I)」。查看了別的應用程式，確定了不是因為夜貓子少睡覺而眼花.....

另外，說起括號，現時版本的 Firefox 都會（大概因為美觀的緣故）在一對括號前後的文字內容之間，分別加上一個半形空白，例如：「檔案 (F)」。不知道如果要修改是不是很麻煩的事？不過，這點在下得說，其實 KompoZer 中有一些文字已經隔了一個空格，只是大部分都沒有隔開，那是說看來怎也要做一次「大手術」了，不如順道把問題處理？

I just successfully installed kompozer 0.7.10 in Fedora Core 6 by using the RPM package. The 20070908 zh-TW locale works well for me. However, I faced one problem when installing the locale extension in Fedora Core 6 in my virtual machine.I got

when I drag'n'drop zh-TW locale xpi file (stored the Desktop) to KompoZer Extensions window. But if I installed the locale extension by using 'Install' button on the Extensions window of KompoZer, I could successfully installed the extension.

FYI, my Fedora Core 6 LANG setting is

I'm using this RPM and have tested it against Fedora Core 4 without problems. This works even when I removed Quick Locale Switcher extension, on which the several previous locale versions rely.

However, a user from Ubuntu Taiwan Forum(discussion in Chinese) found that the locale(not the most updated version) couldn't be installed automatically in Ubuntu 7.10, probably due to privilege problem??...(The locale file was said to have to be extracted and installed manually...)though I don't have further information on the issue.

釐清一下，我之前是第一次 0907 -> 0908 是用「上傳新版本」的方式，但 kaze 回報說不能用，所以我次先砍掉原本附檔，再上傳一次新版本，但結果是只有文章區的鏈結才正常，下面附加檔案的表格所下載的檔案不正確，這是我操作上有問題嗎？還是 MozTW 論壇系統的問題？


事實上，這是我這兩天把所有 ... (三個點) 改成 … (U+2026)造成的結果。為什麼要改？其實是因為想說省略號也是標準的中文標點之一，所以應該改用中文，但沒想到會有這種效果。（其實現在才想起，省略號應該是六個點啊 ）現在都已經統一了，看起來感覺應該不壞吧？我似乎沒有動力去再大改一次。

比較奇怪的是，在 Windows 裡，U+2026 顯示在字的底部（底線的位置），與原來三個英文句點顯示的位置差不多，只是窄了一點；但在 Fedora Core 6，U+2026 顯示在字的中間（破折號的位置）。不知道哪一種顯示方式才是正確的？

中英文間隔、中文與半形英文圓括弧、英文圓括弧 vs 中文全形括弧的問題，我有留意到翻譯裡有時會有不一致的情況，只是因為覺得問題不大，所以一直沒有積極去改。原來的 NVU 翻譯，中英文之間沒有空格、中文與半形括弧間也沒有空格，原則上，我是按照這個慣例來做，但因自己平常是習慣中英文之間、中文與半形圓括弧間都會空一格，括弧則不一定用中文全形或半形（超壞習慣 Orz），所以有時會搞壞翻譯的慣例，造成今天的局面，我想這個以後慢慢改，現在想趕快弄個穩定的版本出來就好。

Please download zh-TW locale from this link. 三腳貓 Three-leg-cat reported the link in the attachment table was still the old corrupted version. I have no idea why this happened.

I just installed Kompozer 0.7.10 on Ubuntu 7.04 by using deb package. The situation is the same as what I've described on Fedora Core 6. After installing zh-TW locale in 20070908 version and restart, zh-TW GUI appeared as what I've expected.

至於省略號的高低，用文泉驛點陣字型看來是比文鼎ＰＬ新宋 Mono（或同系）字型為低。然而關於省略號的問題也真是有解的：

The RPM package of KompoZer 0.7.10 works ok on Fedora 7 (with KDE as desktop). However, after installing zh-TW locale from "Install" button on Extensions window, I got the following error message:

on the console. After restarting KompoZer, the zh-TW locale seemed to work ok as on other platforms.
