Seems like you don't understand the difference between free software (free speech) and freeware (free beer). Please refer to FSF's website for more details. If iTunes is free software, where is its source?

It does not cost you money.
Source is not free, there's nothing wrong with mentioning iTunes in this (sub) forum.

iTunes is also available for Windows.

不過我對你所講的也有點好奇,iTunes真的是OSS嗎?

Back to the topic of this new iTunes.

If you are Mac OS X user,

The syncing of calendars (iCal) and contacts (Address Book) from your Mac to your iPod is now moved from iSync to iTunes.



and in iTune's preference page,


Aside, as a Mac OS X 10.4 "Tiger" user, syncing between Macs via .Mac has shifted from iSync to System Preference, in other words, only third party devices (mobile phones, PDAs) are left for iSync to sync.

By the way, this new version of iTunes can enable you to both buy videos online and play videos.
Previous versions can open videos, but only outputs the audio portion of the media.

BTW, there's no harm promoting free (as in beer) software at a free (as in speech) software forum, as long as most people don't mind.

iTunes works pretty well, and I love it with my iPod Shuffle.
