既然你在新profile 內可以只吃100MB 記憶體，那就代表乾淨、完好的firefox 在你的電腦內仍有可能是運作正常，只是你所安裝的套件影響著。

看來你有安裝firebug （那些條目應該在about:memory 被遮蔽掉，之前沒有看到……），但它是已知會嚴重影響firefox 運作--但又非常實用--的套件（cpu 跟ram 都會吃很大）。Firebug 也會產生zombie compartment，在bugzilla 內更是被定為首要解決的記憶體問題[MemShrink:P1] 。
一般的建議都是，如非必要就不要啟動firebug。
