一定有人有這種問題，有很多的電腦
每台的FX profile manager（設定檔）與書籤都不一樣，使用起來真不方便
但是又不想用portable Firefox，因為當在一開始讀取的時候真的要等很久


我目前有三台電腦以上
有一台算是處存一些重要檔案
包括FX與TB系統檔案、備份

請問要如何才可以在不同電腦開啟時
都使用同樣的書籤、與profile manager（設定檔）

我試過把
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox
下的資料夾拷貝到另外一台相同目錄，可是還是不行，真奇怪！

有哪為高手請出手幫忙！

複製 profiles 資料夾內「XXXX.profile 名稱」這個資料夾內的檔案取代其他電腦 profiles 資料夾內「新的 XXXX.profile 名稱」這個資料夾內的檔案即可。

沒錯，這是各自分開的，沒辦法同步。因為看到你說：

所以我以為你要的只是想讓幾部電腦使用具有相同內容 profile 的 Fx 即可。如果要同步的話，可以試試在 profiles.ini 內指定 profile 路徑的作法。但我不是很清楚如何把 profile 路徑指定成另外一台電腦的資料夾，作業系統使用者權限的問題也要注意一下。

我的方法初步試驗是可行的
不過有三點限制
1. 需在同一個HUB內 (也許有哪位仁兄知道別的辦法可破此限制)
2. 資料夾所在的那台電腦要開著
3. 一次只有一台電腦可使用profile資料夾裡的資源

假設以下有三台電腦. computer-1 and computer-2 and computer-3
且profile資料夾位於computer-1的C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\
PS.資料夾叫profiles. 要先有資料夾在那裡才繼續往下作喔(空的資料夾也行)

找到profile.ini (u guys can find it here: C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox)
PS.這位置是針對win2k, xp or 2k3. WINme以下用戶就自行搜尋profile.ini

用notepad(中文版windows應該叫"筆記X")之類程式打開profile.ini
PS. computer-1,2,3都要改

for computer-1

Hi X551 and Coolcd

Firstly 真的很感謝大家的幫忙與協助，在下感激不竟.

Secondly the problems...
以下我用Computer縮寫成Comp

1. 我的三台電腦連結是這樣的
Comp01 and Comp02連接 Hub01
Hub01 互連 Hub02
Comp03 連接到 Hub02
但都是在同一個MSHOME網路區域下192.168.1.XXX

2. 我把FireFox裝在 （自己號稱為Server) Comp04 （這台只是XP 把資料夾分享出來而已)下，因為這台電腦從不關機的，我的重要檔案文件都是從這台電腦上存取。我裝在這台電腦上是因為這樣我以後Ghost回來的時候就可以完全不用在裝FireFox。而且本來的想法如果成功好處多多，因為不管是Comp01, Comp02, Comp03 都不需要在裝 FireFox因為這樣既可以省下許多的時間安裝、重新自訂自己的風格畫面、空間...等等。

一開始用Comp01裝了FireFox在Comp04下
也用Comp01做了一個Profile (設定檔)有三個User
請問Profile (設定檔)有三個User怎樣才可以使三個User的書籤同步？！換句話說就是使用同一個書籤

之後我想用Comp03也使用Comp01所建立的Profile 3 個User 的設定檔
所以去到Comp01下的
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles
抓取同樣一個檔案夾。本想當初Comp01所裝好FX設定的Path已經是做好的網路路徑，所以拷貝了Comp01 C:\.... 的 Profiles 應該就可以用了。
但是答案卻告訴我FX在Comp03自動作了一個跟Comp04的FX資料夾下的 default user 的Profile (設定檔)在Comp03 C:/... 下。好想哭喔！所以我在Comp01做的Profile (設定檔)在Comp03下完全沒用。

3.我試過X551的方式，沒有拷貝資料夾而是指改變Profile存取的path也是一樣的問題。沒有設定檔中User選項出來。

好累喔！

我終於知道我的問題出在哪裡了

謝謝各位高手的鼎力協助
在下感恩不盡

原來我改的Profiles.ini是在Local Settings的 FX(這是錯的）
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox

沒想到其實還有另外一個Profiles.ini也是在Documents and Settings 下的 Application Data FX
這是對的
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox

難怪一直覺得怪怪的，改了Profiles.ini 都沒有用，設定了三個 user 只出現一個 user更加奇怪。一直在想FX真厲害，找都找不到如何改，讓我一直佩服不已。哈哈哈～ 不過我還是很佩服FX的！

記住喔～ 要改的人千萬不要改錯地方了，因為有兩個Application Data也都在Documents and Settings下面，但是是Application Data 不是在 Local Setting下的Application Data，因為裡面的東西基本上是一樣的，所以很容易就搞錯了！

現在新的問題就是如何讓同一個 Profiles.ini 的 user 書籤同步了。 知道後再回來告訴各位！
