So far (day two), I've not seen another Error Console pop up since REMOVING FireGestures (and reinstalling FireShot). I still have Mouse Gesture Redox 2.0.2 installed. My guess is these two gesture programs do not get along. If you have only one (either one), you should be doing fine, if you have both installed though, then you have a real problem. I do not recall any real differences between the two gesture programs (Maybe FireGesture leaves a red line showing your direction?). When I feel the urge, I might delete Mouse Gestures and try FireGestures again. The error console business was not fun, but much thanks to LoudNoise and this Forum for the suggestion/resolution.

Added note: in my case (Vista), I first tried disabling extensions and that did not seem to work. I had to actually uninstall the extension. I uninstalled FireGestures first simply because it was higher in my list-no other reason. I also have an "all in one (mouse) gestures" add on on another (XP) PC. It does not have the problem, but it is the only "gesture" add on I'm using there. In general, I think it might be a good idea to be careful or observant about multiple add ons that do "almost the same thing."

(FWIW, A Google search was of no real assistance in solving this and Error Console seems a "common" issue)

最近在 MozTW 上用 Fx3 的使用者頻繁回報這問題，所以成立這串。這有可能是網頁的問題，有可能是擴充套件的問題，但是預設值是不會自動跳出「錯誤主控台」的，所以請先把焦點放在「是什麼讓預設不彈出警告的錯誤主控台跑了出來」。先進 Firefox 的安全模式測試看看。（參考：重建 Firefox 的設定）承接上一點，有些情況，停用 FireGestures 這擴充套件也許有用。不行的話，檢查 javascript.options.showInConsole 跟 javascript.options.strict 兩個設定值是 True 還 False 。（參考：Firefox 1.5.x 的 JavaScript 主控台）還是不行的話，在討論區搜尋「錯誤主控台」試試。

我也有一樣的問題, 於是試看看~~ 我把每個附加元件都停用-開啟....反覆測試後有了結果, 就是只要把其中一個附加元件停用就可以: 停用 "FireGestures 版本:1.1.4.1" 僅提供這個簡單的解決方法, 希望比較懂Fx的朋友可以找出真正的問題所在~~

shyangs 寫: 我的建議是用"error console" pop 為關鍵字搜尋。主要是我懶得找英文資料，然後有人好像是進安全模式就好，剩下說要搜討論區，那是搞不好會有人找出原因來，所以先放在那提醒而已。不過我沒碰上這問題（Fx1.0 前好像有碰過），其實也不知道該先考慮是擴充套件還什麼的問題。 XD

我移除FF2之後裝的FF3沒這問題依自動更新通知指示從FF2升級到FF3才有出現這個問題跑安全模式我這邊還是照跳錯誤訊息停用FireGestures之後果然就沒出現錯誤訊息了我現在用ALL IN ON Gestures 取代 FireGestures 快樂使用中系統：WIN XPP S3

xvi 寫: 我移除FF2之後裝的FF3沒這問題依自動更新通知指示從FF2升級到FF3才有出現這個問題跑安全模式我這邊還是照跳錯誤訊息停用FireGestures之後果然就沒出現錯誤訊息了我現在用ALL IN ON Gestures 取代 FireGestures 快樂使用中 :lol: 系統：WIN XPP S3 不過照理說安全模式會停用掉所有擴充套件和佈景主題，只使用自己的書籤庫跟自訂的 about:config 變更，到 Fx3 居然還是會有擴充套件出現這種停不掉的問題，感覺是挺奇妙的。（上一次碰到這種擴充套件是 Flashblock 的事了）
