I download firefox preleased 1.0 version lately. and I can't launch it successful. Tested both localized version [zh_TW] as well as en version.
The symptom is that I open task manager [this only happened in firefox window version; I didn't use firfox in other platform], finding out that CPU activities ramps up to 100%, with most of resource was consumed via firefox.
The env I use is XP Home Edition.
How to solved it?
For I can't find any strange message in log file, including install.log, install_status.log and install_wizard.log.
Or can i use debug mode? if possible, how?

Mostly this is caused by a broken profile which was
created by prior incompatible version (usually <0.9).
Please remove you profile.
Search 'profile' in this forum and mozilla site to find
its real location of your computer.

Thanks your help, the problem's been solved!
After removing folders [previous version 0.9], located in C:\Documents and Settings\User\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox as well as C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox, now it can get to work.

BTW, seemly firfox does not remove previous version that may result such problem. Why not let install-shield automatically do the right thing? For it's not convenient for a real end user [who knows nothing about configuration of application] to do it manually, though, I know, it's not a big deal for guru.

Because removing profiles will reset users' bookmark,
passwords, and other settings.

Firefox core team believes that Firefox can switch
between profiles without problems so they do not
do so but the truth is many people get problems
during upgrade. Maybe these issues will be solved
in the future.
