Hi all, I'd installed new system of FC3 on old computer today. (So I can't type chinese right now.) But the build-in version of Firefox is 1.0PR, and somebody can tell me how to install 1.0 release replace 1.0PR? I hope the old version can be remove and new one will be placed in same place. By the way, I'd searched in this froum and not found any useful information before issue a new subject. Thanks a lot. |

方法一 ： 偏好設定＝》進階＝》軟體更新 直接昇級 方法二 ： 去http://www.mozilla.org下載 1.0， 解壓後找 installer 安裝。 |

我用FC3，內附firefox1.0英文版 我到www.moztw.org下載firefox1.0中文版for linux(tar.gz) 我用tar zxvf(or tvfz)解firefox-1.0.installer.tar.gz時 都會出現 gzip: stdi: unexpected edn of file tar: child returned status1 tar: error exit delayted from previous errors 要如何將firefox1.0英文版 改成中文版呢?? 我從edit->preferences->advance 沒看到升級的選單也 |

I use the online update function to replace it.Besides this method I think you can visit Rethat website to download rmp package to update. Hopefully answering your question. |

如果真的不行的話... 試試某熱心網友包的這個 rpm 檔 http://140.111.152.5/plog/files/firefox-1.0-0.fc3.i386.rpm 如果安裝後不能執行，請去Fc3 光碟安裝 compat-libstdc++-8-3.3.4.2.i386.rpm 。 |
