hello everyone,

i used my firefox last night to surf on net, and it suddenly halted and can't load the page. then i turn it off and restart it again. at that time, it show a dialog i have never seen. it may a preference dialog, it is about the setting of individual user (i think..), i firstly think that it may be change the place of store profile, so i create a new one and change it.

however, firefox start with a new page, all my setting, extension and bookmark is gone. then i check the store page i changed before, it already installed some file like bookmarks.html.......

then, i want to find out the dialog again and change the setting back, but i fail. after all effort i did, i uninstall it and reinstall it. after that, i think the setting is go back to default, but it is not what i think........cry

so, could anyone tell me how to change it back the setting? the dialog is seem a individual user setting dialog.....and already have a user name called "default"

i am quite worry coz i have already reinstall it again but the problem is not solved.

by the way...
why the setting is still here after i unistall it..?
ff does not change the register...then it should be not setting remain in sys after uninstall it....
but it is strange that i reinstall it and it is still using the other profile...
could anyone tell me the answer?

after you uninstall Firefox, the profile folders are still there.
