network.http.pipelining.maxrequests 的上限是 8 network.http.pipelining.maxrequests 在程式碼中已經有上限，最大值是8..也就是說 你射成10、100、1000 都是等於8....... 這大概是有史以來被訛傳最多的tweak.....@@ 有的建議 32、有的50、有的100.... 為什麼資訊都不經過求證就亂散佈呢？真是奇怪..^_^ |

network.http.pipelining.maxrequests 在程式碼中已經有上限，最大值是8..也就是說 你射成10、100、1000 都是等於8....... 這大概是有史以來被訛傳最多的tweak.....@@ 有的建議 32、有的50、有的100.... 為什麼資訊都不經過求證就亂散佈呢？真是奇怪..^_^ 或許在比較早的 firefox (包括 firebird 等等) 版本中是沒有檢查的。 |

可是我試著設定成 8 跟 20 ，20 真的還是比 8 快很多。有什麼方法可以得知 8 是極限？ |

我有一點滿好奇的是，firefox的pipeline也會有pipeline hazard嗎？ 如果有的話，有個上限應該很合理 (不過我想像不到純軟體的pipeline hazard要怎麼產生 XD) |

network.http.pipelining.maxrequests 上限只有 8 我不同意這一點.. 因為如果你今天你寫程式. 你不希望人家改你的上限, 大可以 complier 進去你的 code. 為何要釋出這個參數來給別人 tweak. 另外, 關於 network.http.pipelining.maxrequests 這個東西. 很多網站已經說明可以加快 FireFox 的瀏覽速度, google 一下就可以找到 http://www.google.com/search?tab=gw&q=a ... hl=en&lr=& 另外關於 network.http.pipelining.maxrequests. 這是一個實驗的功能, 她的設計是加速瀏覽網頁的速度, 但是並不是每一個網站都支援這個功能 from http://www.mozilla.org/support/firefox/tips 代碼: Pipelining is an experimental feature, designed to improve page-load performance, that is unfortunately not well supported by some web servers and proxies.
不知道是不是在這裡, 有人說 Opera 比其他的 browser 快是因為他有加進這個 http pipelining 功能 |
