Hmm, it seems to be same as the Google Toolbar for MSIE.
Problem number 1: The search field box is very weird. It clearly does not comply with Apple's Human Interface Guideline. (please see the screenshot below)

The official Google Toolbar, previously available only for MS Internet Explorer, is now available for Mozilla Firefox as well. http://toolbar.google.com/firefox/index.html
NOTE: it is still in BETA. The Google Toolbar has been unofficially cloned for Mozilla and Firefox as the Googlebar for quite a while. |

Google Toolbar did not comply Apple's HIG because they're using a inputable combobox in XUL, and Firefox renders it like that. An example of an polished inputable combobox is the location bar, which is actually polished by theming. |

There are other elements to use. Such as the search toolbar (as in Safari and iTunes). |
