I really don't see the point of affiliated links. Many Firefox extremists users (especially university and college students) blocks every single ads they can. This behaviour is kind of unethical. Most of those considered advertisement is evil, however, they don't pay for websites. In other words, they are ripping off webmasters. Now they are using the same advertising tactic (affiliated links) now to gain users? Ridiculous in my opinion. |

Ridiculous in my opinion. 首先，我個人是不會關掉所有廣告，例如 CNET 上方跟左邊欄的廣告不關，因為我常會發現對自己有用的訊息。(至於下方新增的文字廣告我倒是關了... 因為看了兩三遍覺得全數與己無關。) "They are ripping off webmasters" 倒是有點言重了，我覺得廣告這種東西本來就不是能強迫使用者接收的事物 (有很多人也是打開電視看到廣告就轉台的啊)，這樣的演化只表示網站必須想別種方式求取生存。如果因為廣告被擋導致網站管理員無法持續經營，那網站會倒消費者也得不到有用資訊，所以一定會有平衡點的。 另外我的想法是 affiliated links 跟廣告雖然最終都是要吸引大眾連到某個地方，但出發點不太一樣。首先廣告是要錢買的，然後 affiliated links 必須在網站管理員認同的情況下才會放上去 (甚至認同的還不見得會放，例如我的網站)。最後，我自己覺得 sfx 的「點數」好玩意義大過實質意義，跟遊戲排行榜上堅持自己一定要搶到第一的感覺差不多。 所以我想不太需要用這個角度去看它啦，不過當然要不要加入、要不要做什麼事情都是個人的自由。 |
