Former security lead of Mozilla Corporation and co-author of Threat Modeling, a standard manual on application security, Mwende Window Snyder is expected to professionalize Apple’s security policies, just as she did during her tenure at Mozilla. Citing “sources familiar with the situation,” the publication wrote that Snyder started her now gig as a senior security product manager at Apple on Monday.

Prior to joining Mozilla in 2006, Snyder had worked for Microsoft where she had been a part of Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 engineering teams.
