小弟完裝好了之後，一執行就出現一個小視窗上面寫著

error launching browesr windows:no XBL binding for browser

請問這是哪裡有問題啊？？？

所以，你已經下載、安裝 Firefox 0.8，然後你開啟它時看到這個訊息:



這是因為你上一版的 Firefox、Firebird、護 Phoenix 有不相容的擴充套件，例如Tabbrowser Extensions.

如何修復

在 Windows 上
1. 打開「我的電腦」
2. 打開 Local Disk (C) (或你的個人設定檔(profile)資料放置的地方) (秀給我看)
3. 打開 Documents and Settings (秀給我看)
4. 打開有你的 Windows 使用者名稱的夾子 (Show Me)
5. 打開「工具」選單，選取「選項... 」(Show Me)
6. 在「顯示 」籤上按一下，確定「進階設定」下的「顯示隱藏檔案與檔案夾 」有句選。點選「確定」關閉面版 (Show Me)
7. 一個稱為「Application Data」的夾子應出現，打開它 (Show Me)
8. 打開 Phoenix 夾 (Show Me)
9. 打開 Profiles 夾 (Show Me)
10. 打開叫 default 的夾子 (如果你有另一個 Firefox 個人設定檔(profile)，打開符合你所使用的 Firefox 個人設定檔名稱的夾子) (Show Me)
11. 打開名字有奇怪字母與 .slt 檔尾的夾子 (Show Me)
12. 找 chrome 檔案夾 (Show Me)
13. 更名 chrome 檔案夾，例如更名為 chrome-backup. (Show Me)
14. 關閉檔案總管視窗，試著重開 Firefox

在 Mac OS X 上

1. 打開你的 Home 檔案夾
2. 打開 Library 檔案夾
3. 打開 Phoenix 檔案夾
4. 打開 Profiles 檔案夾
5. 打開叫 default 的夾子 (如果你有另一個 Firefox 個人設定檔(profile)，打開符合你所使用的 Firefox 個人設定檔名稱的夾子)
6. 打開叫 default 的夾子 (如果你有另一個 Firefox 個人設定檔(profile)，打開符合你所使用的 Firefox 個人設定檔名稱的夾子)
7 找叫 chrome 的檔案夾，將之更名，例如更名為 chrome-backup.
8. 關閉 Finder 視窗，試著重開 Firefox
