Mozilla 1.7.7 released.
These new releases amend any security issues that have surfaced since Mozilla Firefox 1.0.2 and Mozilla 1.7.6 were released in March, and also implement some noteworthy bug fixes. For example, the Windows bug that resulted in multiple entries appearing in "Add or Remove Programs" when overwriting an older Firefox version with a newer one, such as when using Firefox's built-in Update facility, has been fixed with this release.
The recent Mozilla vulnerable to JavaScript memory exposure is addressed. (
