在一次電腦不正常關機後， Mozilla突然就找不到原來的信件及書籤了 在某個目錄下有看到信件的檔案 書籤小弟就不知道放在哪裡了 想請教我應該怎麼把他們救回來？ 謝謝 |

書籤檔案( bookmarks.html)放在 Win2K C:\Documents and Settings\登入的使用者名稱\Application Data\Mozilla\Profiles\你設定的帳號\隨機產生的.slt\ Win98 C:\Windows\Application Data\Mozilla\Profiles\你設定的帳號\隨機產生的.slt\ |

If you find difficult to find where the Mozilla puts the mails , then create your own directory like D:\mail\mozilla\Profiles\xxxxxxxx,.slt\danili\...... This is easier to search than the default path C:\Application Data\...... Normally, the browser will be still able to find the original directory location no matter the system has crashed sometiimes. To recall your original profile: [1] Delete the previous profile user, eg "jason" and choose "Don't Delete Files" [2] Create a new profile and "Browser" to your original profile directory location, NOTE THAT CHOOSE THE DIRECTORY ONE LEVEL UPPER THAN "jason" AND TYPE YPURSELF THE FINAL PERSONAL PROFILE DIRECTORY "jason". Next, click "Finish" and the screen wiill be back to Profile Manager. After that, start this profile "jason" and Mozilla should be able to find the original customised settings . * If not successful, check whether the path is the same as the previoius path or not ? Sometimes, you may make a mistake that you create the path like this "D:\mail\mozilla\Profiles\xxxxxxxx,.slt\jason\jason\..." The lowest directory is created TWICE because you browse and choose the final "jason" so the Profile Manager creates again the "jason", it is certainly not the original path you have got ! |
