Forbes reported that Microsoft would delay the release of Office 2008 for Mac until the middle of January 2008. Microsoft previously said Office 2008 would be ready in second half of 2007. Microsoft's Macintosh Business Unit (MacBU) value the quality of the products seriously. Two main reasons that caused the delay: Apple's decision to switch to Intel CPUs and Microsoft's own move to a new file format introduced in Office 2007 for Windows. One thing that I'll like about Office 2008 is that it'll finally support Office XML, and its new UI. |

intel MAC不是有parallels嗎？... 還有...不是有wine之類的東西嗎？... 這些應該都能跑office 2007吧？... 對使用者來說應該影響不太大吧... 當然有原生的程式還是比較好就是了... |

還有...不是有wine之類的東西嗎？... 這些應該都能跑office 2007吧？... 對使用者來說應該影響不太大吧... 當然有原生的程式還是比較好就是了... 說起來現在的mac不是還是可以裝XP的？ 個人覺得是種侮辱自己的行為就是orz |

苦了 Office 2004 for Mac 的使用者，原本微軟是預定 2007 年 1 月便有 OOXML 的轉換器，而 Office 2008 是預定在 2007 年中發行。 而 OOXML 轉換器延期至 Office 2008 推出的時期，那不單是信譽不保的問題，而是為了強推 Office 2008，便力求把 Office 2004 淘汰（和 XP 的下場一樣）。 不然，微軟該先推出 OOXML 轉換器給 Office 2004，因為那該不是很難辦到的東西吧？然而它的手段卻和 Micro$oft 的 OOXML-ODF 轉換器一樣被漠視了，只不過這次它的對手只是微軟自己的舊版 Office 2004 而已。 果真是「商場沒父（舊 Office）子（新 Office）」...... |

ants 寫: 三腳貓 Three-leg-cat 寫: 苦了 Office 2004 for Mac 的使用者，原本微軟是預定 2007 年 1 月便有 OOXML 的轉換器，而 Office 2008 是預定在 2007 年中發行。 Please see Microsoft 推出 Office 檔案格式轉換程式 (applewoods) and Microsoft Office Open XML File Format Converter for Mac 0.2 (Beta) (Microsoft) 謝，之前看過少許消息，而轉換的水準有待考察了。 至於怎麼是轉換成 RTF 而不是讓 Office 2004 有閱讀（甚至是寫） OOXML 的能力呢（既然微軟在推）？ 這樣推斷，微軟的潛台詞也許是這樣：「閣下用的 Office 2004 已經比較舊，不好支援 OOXML 了。那怎麼不推出 docx 到 doc 的轉換器？也是因為 Office 2004 比較舊，用 RTF 就恰如其分了（而且 RTF 還是開放的，免得閣下指責我封閉耶）。覺得要兼顧太多格式嗎？不用麻煩，閣下既然都買過第一套 Office 2008 了，應該相當滿意的了（當然嘍～那是我們微軟最新的版本），那就全都轉用 Office 2008 吧！...... 那是說微軟對 Office 2004 的支援只是從為了替 Office 2008 背書的方向去做。 昇陽該想想弄個 ODF 轉換器給 Office 2004 了（不然說不上 interoperability 啦）。 |
