請問TB可匯出郵件及通訊嗎？
怎麼做呢？

我也是同樣的問題哦！
更換了一台電腦，專心學用linux，但是那些電郵的轉移就是個大問題！

電子郵件和通訊錄的部分都可以直接複製檔案即可
通訊錄則可以利用匯出工具，匯出成 .ldif 或 .csv 等格式的檔案

請問電子郵件要剪貼那一個檔案？因為不太清楚如何做。另因現時剛開學用Linux，但因用的版本內的thunderbrid是英文，如自行下載中文的thunderbird，然後才可以把英文的蓋上？各位學長能否指導一下？

假設使用的OS是win2k, XP 的話
電子郵件找底下的目錄
C:\Documents and Settings\使用者名稱\Application Data\Thunderbird\Profiles\一串亂數.default\Mail
底下的資料夾就可以了，那邊的檔案是所有帳號的郵件檔

不建議用覆蓋的方式
看你要將英文版移除裝中文版，還是將中文版裝在不同目錄，
這會是比較ok的做法

底下的資料夾）貼在那一個檔案內才對？

不過先聲明一下，Linux 底下相關設定的個人不是很確定
你可以參考一下『 Mozilla 的安裝與使用』那邊的置頂文

郵件檔案應該是可以互通的
不過建議你在複製到 linux 系統底下前
先在 linux 下的 TB 新建相同的帳號
然後才把檔案覆蓋過去，windows 下的作法也是這樣。

I guess you are saying that your Thunderbird binaries are installed inside /usr/share, right? Once you have setup your account(s) as same as your M$ Windows from the Linux Thunderbird, there will be a hidden dot directory created under your home directory, e.g. "/home/yourname/.thunderbird". Then you can copy all the files under "\Application Data\Thunderbird\Profiles\xyz.default\Mail" into "/home/yourname/.thunderbird/xyz.default\Mail".

I'm using Solaris Thunderbird, it should be somehow the same. You may also check the path indicated on the Account Settings -> Server Settings -> "Local directory:" text field, which is your home directory thunderbird profile path.

If you know where is your home directory, then the dot thunderbird folder ".thunderbird" should be over there (must run TB at the first time and setup profiles to create it).
