Wierd phrasing. "Real Mates with Mozilla". Mate. As a verb, not a noun.
Multiplying, anyone?

I guess when people get old enough (like my age), they won't find the word "mate" (as in verb) funny.

"Mate" (verb) does not necessary mean "breeding".
it also means: join or connect mechanically; be connected or joined.

When I think of the word "mate", I first think of the noun.
It can mean something similar to "dude", or it might mean "companion", depending on the context.

For example, "classmate", "companion in class".

The verb comes later.
